ABC Networks Charity of the Year: The Street Soccer Foundation

The Street Soccer Foundation is thrilled to announce that ABC Networks has named us it’s new Charity, with the Member’s Network committing to supporting the Street Soccer Foundation and its acclaimed development programme for young people, for the next 2 years, during 2017 and 2018.

Founder of ABC Networks, Ash Lawrence, commented: “I have a passion for football and for sport. With ABC we want to put stuff back into the community. Teaming up with The Street Soccer Foundation seems the ideal fit for us. The fact Keith and his team are taking people off the street through football and putting them back into work. It’s a programme initiative which I’m sure with the help of our members, we can really make an impact together and get right behind it over the coming next 2 years.”

Instilling confidence and desire in participants to want to make a change for the better; the Street Soccer programme educates, inspires and motivates individuals by using the power of football and the training of a positive mind-set to improve their lives and their environment. Helping young people to achieve their goals both on and off the pitch, and to inspire others to do the same.

Street Soccer Foundation CEO, Keith Mabbutt said: “This is fantastic news for the Foundation and our Street Soccer programme and I’m truly grateful to Ash and the ABC Networks team. ABC Networks is a very well-known brand in the South East, with some 20 ABC Network groups running with more than 6,000 members. Thanks to Ash, we now have the incredible opportunity of raising the awareness of the impact of our development programme for young people across Kent to all the brilliant members and business owners joined together via ABC. I hope together we can attract a number of new Supporters in order to create new opportunities for young people in the County, and expand our programme of support to help even more young people.”

ABC Networks was set up to help small business owners.

The ABC Big Breakfast event attracts over 50 attendees and is a great place to meet people from the extended ABC family. The next Big Breakfast is Monday 27th February and Keith Mabbutt of The Street Soccer Foundation will be speaking. Take the opportunity to meet with Keith and other ABC Network members and get involved. Places are going fast so please BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment.
