Head of Safeguarding & Ambassador
Former Premiership and International Footballer.

I have supported The SSF from its inaugural programme delivery at Anfield, home of Liverpool FC, witnessing the impact that the Academy programme has on vulnerable young adults, whether homeless or struggling with mental health issues. It was a privilege to contribute weekly and see how the young people developed week on week. And to be there at the end and witness the difference in the participants, from day one to their graduation day was extra special! I will endeavour to continue supporting the SSF in any capacity as I believe football really does save lives. A special congratulations to CEO, Keith Mabbutt, a true inspiration!
